Not a prolific winner but always runs her race and is handicapped to win tonight off a mark of 69 (four career victories have come off 69, 74, 69, 72). Voi has had four starts since undergoing wind surgery in the summer and wasn't disgraced on her first three outings when beaten between two-and-a-half and three-and-three-quarter lengths on each occasion. She showed marked improvement last time out, though, when just denied by the improving Crimewave, who should have won yesterday afternoon but for trouble in running. Gabriele Malune gets on well with the mare and her draw in stall two is perfect.

AMERICAN ANGLE

Instilled Regard(9.49 Gulfstream)

Chad Brown has got a strong hand in the Pegasus World Cup Turf tonight and many will be on likely first string and ex-John Gosden-trained Without Parole. However, Gulfstream is a track where rider experience is crucial and the tight-turning circuit will play into the favour of Brown's outsider Instilled Regard, who is partnered by the best rider in America, Irad Ortiz. Formerly with Jerry Hollendorfer when fourth in both the Santa Anita Derby and Kentucky Derby, Instilled Regard eventually got off the mark for current connections at this track last time out and was never forced to go into his sixth gear. This is harder but he should adopt a similarly forward pitch from gate six and can feature.
