Sir Michael Stoute's Frankel colt is bred to be a superstar but is yet to put it all together on the track, with three seconds from four career starts. He bumped into the smart Khuzaam and Telecaster on his first two runs, before disappointing at odds of 1-8 in a small-field Newcastle novice contest. That was an extremely poor run but I'm happy to put a line through it on the basis he wasn't suited by a steady pace over 1m2f, and his latest run, when seventh of 13, was a much better performance. He's been dropped 2lb since and is now fitted with first-time blinkers, which can help him lose his maiden tag.
