The Evening Punt: Tom Collins' free horse racing tip on Monday

GOOD THING
Snow Leopard (8.30 Kempton)
Tony Carroll does well with his new recruits, which he has already proved several times this winter, and although Snow Leopard is yet to get off the mark for him in four starts, surely his turn is just around the corner. Rated just 46, Snow Leopard has been set some tough tasks from out the back of the pack on three starts over this 1m4f trip since joining Carroll, but ran with plenty of encouragement when fourth over this course and distance last time out. He stayed on well in the closing stages to be never nearer at the line and has a good chance of getting off the mark tonight under a more aggressive ride. Ben Curtis, the leading all-weather rider, has been booked and he could be the best handicapped horse in the race.
