The Evening Punt: David Baxter's free racing tips at Chelmsford on Thursday
Banker
Harb (5.30 Chelmsford)
Second over course and distance last time out, Harb came clear with 86-rated rival Home City on that occasion, and a reproduction of that effort should be sufficient to see him record a first career success.
Ikhtiraaq, in the same ownership, is challenging for favouritism, but the form of his Salisbury debut when runner-up is not working out well and I am far sweeter on the chances of Harb.
Eyecatcher
Tiger Touch (7.00 Chelmsford)
David O'Meara has had proven success with French imports, and hopefully Tiger Touch will be another.
Picked up at the sales for €32,000 in July, Tiger Touch didn't do a great deal on debut for new connections when only beating one home at Salisbury last month.
But hopefully the four-year-old is now more acclimatised and can leave that effort well behind. He was a useful handicapper at three, and a mark of 72 might prove lenient in time.
