Sweetspots: Mont Royale can make Coleman’s trip worthwhile

Credit: Harry Trump

Aidan Coleman goes to Uttoxeter for one ride to partner Mont Royale (4.45). He will cope with the soft ground better than most of his rivals and looks to have a good chance of landing the valuable affair.

Ger O’Neill is three from five at Pontefract, which plays to his penchant for making the running. He rides Mysterial (2.30), a course winner this season who will appreciate a bit of give in the ground.

Custom Cut doesn’t get his conditions very often but is a potent force on soft ground and can take the Pomfret Stakes (Pontefract 3.30) for the second time.
