Sweetspots: Classy Addeybb could make drop in grade count

When William Haggas and James Doyle team up at Lingfield, it is worth taking note. They have a 43 per cent strike-rate and combine with Addeybb in the 2.45. This high-class gelding drops in grade and could easily prove a class apart.

Danny McMenamin is a jockey in fine form. He has a 50 per cent strike-rate in the last two weeks and goes to Wetherby for two rides for Ben Pauling, the pick of whom is Skidoosh (12.30). This promising novice hurdler won nicely last time over course and distance.

This is a prime time of year for trainer Andi Brown. He has a 33 per cent strike-rate two weeks either side of today’s date for the past five seasons and saddles Premium Pink in the 2.10 at Lingfield. After finishing down the field in a Newmarket maiden, this six-furlong trip should be more to her liking.
