Stoute colt Khairaat working well and should enjoy Chester turns

Credit: Matt Cardy

Newmarket: David Milnes

Khairaat (1.50 Chester, nap)

Fancied to improve Sir Michael Stoute's great record on the Roodee after some smart work on the Al Bahathri. The four-year-old should enjoy going around these turns and won't mind the ground.

Others to follow
Chester 2.25 Poet's Word, 3.00 Via Egnatia, 3.35 Cunco, 4.05 Dahik, 4.35 Zamjar, 5.05 Banish.
Carlisle 3.10 Mokhalad, 3.45 Coronation Day.

Lambourn: Nick Deacon

Brorocco (1.50 Chester, nap)

Has strengthened up from three to four and underlined the point with a comeback win in a decent handicap at Epsom 15 days ago. Looks the sort to progress further and fancied to overcome a 4lb hike in the weights.

Others to follow
Chester 3.00 Rebel De Lope, 4.05 Milton Road, 4.35 Esprit De Lope.
Catterick 2.05 Three Little Birds, 2.35 Retrieve.
Worcester 3.55 Rum Swizzle, 5.25 Little Topper.
Carlisle 7.55 Breaking Bits.

North: Richard Young

Willbeme (4.45 Catterick, nap)

Has slipped in the weights and clear signs of a return to form when second over 6f at Thirsk last time. Drop in trip is no concern, has conditions to suit and is fancied to return to winning ways from a favourable draw.

Others to follow
Carlisle 6.25 Heaven Scent, 6.55 Cousin Oscar, 7.25 Cadellin, 7.55 Call The Cops, 8.25 Domtaline, 8.55 Rockalzaro.
Catterick 2.05 Capla Dancer, 2.35 San Quentin, 3.10 The Eagle's Nest, 3.45 Bahamian Bird, 4.15 Tonto's Spirit, 5.15 Silvanus.
Chester 1.50 Mistiroc, 2.25 Gabrial, 3.00 Areen Heart, 4.05 Dragons Tail, 4.35 Poet's Society, 5.05 Energia Fox.
Worcester 4.25 Pads.

West Country: Andrew King

Billy My Boy (5.25 Worcester, nap)

Seems to find his form on better ground at this time of year and is expected to put up a bold show.

Others to follow
Worcester 2.15 Spring Steel, 2.45 Shintori, 3.55 Mistress Massini, 4.55 Gingili.

Racing Post Ratings: Paul Curtis

Full Intention (4.35 Chester, nap)

Twice ran well here last year when placed from poor draws. Has fared better on that front here, is well treated on the pick of his two-year-old runs and has been gelded since his last start.

Topspeed: Dave Edwards

Capla Dancer (2.05 Catterick)

Made a successful debut at Ripon last month, earning decent figures in the process, and Karl Burke's promising filly can concede weight all round.

Longshot: Ed Quigley

Ladies Dancing (2.45 Worcester)

Patchy form recently, but latest run should have brought him on. Unexposed over fences and has good form at the track.

Ireland: Tony O'Hehir

Knockmaole Boy(5.10 Tipperary)

Although disappointing on the second of his two attempts over hurdles, the Gordon Elliott-trained five-year-old is probably better judged on his second to the smart Bleu Berry on his hurdling debut at Punchestown and anything approaching that level of form would give him an excellent chance.
