>>Briery Belle was backed to 9-4 favourite from an early 100-30 in the Lady Godiva Mares' Novices' Chase at Warwick and the market leader kept on well for pressure to land the gamble.

Henry Daly's winner had to be ridden along to stay in touch with clear leader Desert Queen and briefly looked in trouble in the back straight. She touched a high of 11 in running on Betfair, but came home well to win going away by six lengths and deny backers who forced the pace-setting runner-up to 1.26.
