Won his maiden on heavy going at Haydock last year and Mark Johnston's gelding looked better than ever when returned to testing ground here on Wednesday, running away with a competitive 1m4f handicap by a length and a half. The furlong drop in trip shouldn't pose a problem and he is well treated turned out quickly under a 6lb penalty. Oisin Murphy takes over from Joe Fanning in the saddle.
