Paul Midgley had a slow start to the season but he has got into top gear this month with six winners so far, and in Orvar he has a horse capable of winning the Tote Rockingham Handicap at the Curragh (7.45).

The key to this horse is a strong pace at 5f and that should be what he gets with El Astronaute drawn near to him. He enjoyed that luxury when he hacked up off this mark at Doncaster last season and there was plenty of encouragement when he was last seen at York a month ago.
