Southwell Placepot picks: Paul Kealy starts and finishes with a banker

All-weather racing is not really my thing, but I'd be lying if I said the jumps cards made any appeal for a Placepot, so it's off to Southwell.

We'll get a banker in early as looks to have easily the best form in the opener (12.50), as her second in a maiden at Kempton has worked out well.

Nothing is easy after that but ought to go well back on the all-weather in the next (1.20) after flopping in the mud at Catterick last time, while is generally consistent.

In the third (1.55), is hard to leave out given the form he is in, while has run well twice since taking nearly a year out and is handicapped to go close.

There are plenty of in-form horses in the next (2.30) and my two against the field would be in a first-time visor for Saeed bin Suroor and , who is potentially a fair bit better than these if fit after a long break.

has to be of interest in the fifth (3.05) as he's only 2lb higher than his last winning mark on the all-weather and ran his best ever turf race when last seen. He goes in with former useful juvenile , who will surely win at some point for Kevin Ryan.

The last (3.40) is a weak affair and should be good enough to seal a place in the first three.
