Last year over a two-week period either side of today Evan Williams saddled 31 winners from 138 runners, a 22 per cent strike-rate. Backing each runner to a £1 level stake would have yielded a profit of £95.70. He saddles Bach De Clermont in the 2.40 at Kempton.
