John Mackie and Joe Fanning have individual strike-rates of 18 and 16 per cent at Southwell. That rises to 60 per cent when they combine. They join forces with Custard The Dragon (3.05), who is five from six at the track, and Ayresome Angel (4.40).

Emma Lavelle is four from 14, a 29 per cent strike-rate, with horses having their first run for her having switched from another stable. De Rasher Counter makes his first start for the yard in the 5.20 at Kempton having won a point-to-point and bumper for Liz Lalor in Ireland.
