Signposts: Jungle can rumble for Johnston in Lingfield seller

Simon Crisford is 9-22 (41 per cent strike-rate) in the two-week period either side of this date since he started training. His runner Ostilio (3.55 Lingfield) has had wind surgery and can benefit from the application of a tongue-tie (Crisford has a 29 per cent strike-rate with this aid).

Mark Johnston rarely has runners in sellers (ten in the last five years) but his only representative since the start of 2017 was successful at the first time of asking in the grade. The Jungle VIP can do the same in the 3.25 at Lingfield.
