Signposts: Bailey set to extend fine Ludlow bumper record

Credit: Alan Crowhurst

At Ludlow Kim Bailey has a 100 per cent record with his runners making their debut in a bumper. The Grand National and Gold Cup-winning trainer has saddled three winners from three runners in that sphere and can continue his streak with Dandy Dan (5.00).

Ossie’s Dancer was an 8-1 winner of the 4.15 at Plumpton in 2015 off a mark of 126. He bids to repeat the feat off 14lb lower.

Willie Mullins has a 57 per cent strike-rate with horses running for him first time after switching from another trainer. Easy Gold (2.05) and Lagostovegas (3.35) fit that bill at Killarney.
