The Hughie Morrison-trained four-year-old might not look the most straightforward, but he is definitely on the up and seems to have a good rapport with Charlie Bennett, winning two of his last three starts under the apprentice.

Last time out Dutch Law struck over course and distance, beating Firmament half a length and keeping on despite being hard under the pressure, and he can still be expected to be competitive despite a further 6lb rise, especially as he has continued to progress throughout the term and might not have stopped.

Granted this is his hardest task so far, but he is one to have on your side to make the frame, especially if he has the favoured side of the draw coming from stall 5.
