There were plenty of promising types in the juvenile maidens run at Galway last week. This Noel Meade-trained colt might be a little more of a slow burner, but he showed a bit of promise in a maiden that is working out well.
He was slowly into stride and raced green throughout and, while he did make some headway to chase the leaders into the straight, he was unable to sustain it in the last furlong or so and his rider did not give him a hard time when his chance was gone.
