It was a good two days at Punchestown last week with plenty of decent horses on show and plenty of clues on offer. This gelding stood out as a potential future winner and we may not have to wait long for that to happen.

With one completed run coming into this contest, at Tipperary this month, he did a fair bit better here. He closed up nicely from mid-division to have a chance at the second-last, and while he was a bit one-paced, it has to be remembered the potentially brilliant Samcro won the race, the progressive Mind's Eye was second and the useful Jack Dillinger was third.
