Project Bluebook all set to take command for Quinn off low weight

Project Bluebook, just the type of three-year-old to thrive in all-age staying handicaps during the second part of the season, stands out in Catterick’s Class4 CNG Handicap (3.45) over 1m6f.

After landing a Class 5 Beverley handicap over 1m4f in April – his three rivals that day, Matidia, Sporty Yankee and Airton have all won since – the son of Sinndar has suffered four straight defeats and it would appear on first glance that his rate of improvement may have bottomed out.

However, three of those runs were in Class 3 company, including when a highly respectable seventh to last Saturday’s Glorious Goodwood winner Dal Harraild in a valuable and fiercely contested Musselburgh event on Derby day.
