Pricewise: Irish look to hold all the aces in the Triumph Hurdle

There is no doubt Fakir D'oudairies put up the best juvenile performance this season when winning at Cheltenham last weekend and a reproduction of that effort would surely see him go close in the JCB Triumph Hurdle.

It could be argued he is a fair bet at around the 5-1 mark but I wouldn't be taking that price just yet because he's been entered in the Supreme and Ballymore as well. That might mean nothing but if stablemate Sir Erec wins the best trial, the Tattersalls Ireland Spring Juvenile Hurdle at Leopardstown this weekend, then there might be a temptation to run Fakir D'oudairies in another race.
