Perth Placepot tips: Graeme Rodway has an affordable perm for the jumps fixture

The opening 2m4f novice hurdle (1.45) looks a match between Brief Ambition and Rich Belief. There is no harm in putting both in the Placepot perm and they should get us through.

The 3m novice handicap chase (2.20) is more open. Grageelagh Girl looks the solid one and must be included, but it is also worth taking a chance on Folks Like Us at a bigger price.

Do No Wrong won well at Sedgefield 11 days ago and should be difficult to beat off a 6lb higher mark in the 2m4f novice handicap hurdle (2.50). He rates banker material for a place.

A small field lines up for the 3m handicap chase (3.20) and that makes things tricky. Course specialist Amalfi Doug should be included alongside Dead Right, who goes well fresh.

The hat-trick-seeking Henry Sellers is one of my bets of the day in the 3m handicap hurdle (3.50). He did it nicely when winning at Hexham last week and should improve further.

Renegade Arrow showed promise when third on his debut at Worcester in July and should be capable of making the places in the bumper (4.25). He rates another banker in a small perm.
