Paul Kealy's play of the day at Sandown
Frero Banbou has been a bit of a frustrating horse to follow as he hasn't won the races he should have, but he's talented enough when he gets his conditions and they should be perfect for him here with up to 10mm of rain forecast to hit Sandown pre-racing.
The last twice Frero Banbou has raced on really bad ground he beat fellow mudlover Eclair D'Ainay at Lingfield with the pair miles clear, and finished third in the Grand Annual despite being almost left at the start.
His two Sandown runs include a win and a second to the ridiculously well handicapped course specialist Dolos, so I make him the one to beat despite Corrigeen Rock and Grey Diamond having serious claims.
