Trainer Paul Nicholls was of the opinion Danny Whizzbang was massively in need of the run on his return at Newbury, but he still beat Reserve Tank fairly comfortably, and even if the runner-up was below par that was still a fine first effort.

If he comes on as much as Nicholls seemed to think he would he could prove the one to beat.
