No. 7
Imperial Knight
4.15 Haydock
1pt win at 15-2 generallyImperial Knight hated the experience of chasing at Chepstow on his return for Ben Pauling, and that experiment has quickly been shelved.

However, he remains of interest over hurdles off a mark of just 124 based on his final effort in that sphere last spring, where he finished second to Larkbarrow Lad by half a length off level weights, who was a respectable fifth in the Lanzarote last week off 136.

Last month's chase outing was also his first run at around 3m so we never found out if he stayed, but it will surely be a surprise if he doesn't as his sire won the Queen's Vase when it was over 2m and his dam was a winner over 3m.
