Credit: Edward Whitaker

has been below form on her two starts this term, but the result is a mark only 1lb higher than when she won Newbury's opener (12.20) on this card last year.

She looks to have been primed for another crack with Richard Johnson back in the saddle and she's the first on the list for the Placepot. She can be joined by , who may appreciate dropping back to 2m.

Paul Nicholls' may well be a warm order in the next (12.55) but his French form is hard to gauge, so I'll add , a 92-rated Flat performer for Alan King.

is the main fancy in the next (1.30), but this is his chase debut, so we better have some cover with the sound-jumping .

Only six go in leg four (2.05), which is competitive, and I'm going with .

Leg five (2.40) is even tougher, so it's three this time. Each-way fancy is joined by , another who looks as if he needs to go up in trip, while Redford Road will be dangerously handicapped when he puts it together.

Star Gate is the one I want to take on in the Challow, while Nicholls says Bravemansgame needs decent ground, so I'll take the pair on with classy and .

That's a fair perm, but don't forget you can bet as little as 1p a line on the Tote app these days.
