Paul Kealy expects hurdler to show his true worth dropped in class

1pt win at 13-2Thinking was set a really stiff task by David Pipe on his British debut as he ran in the Greatwood at Cheltenham, which was only his second hurdles start and first for 811 days.

He had been nibbled at in the market early in the week, but was a huge drifter on the day and raced too freely under restraint on the worst ground on the inside before being pulled up in the straight.

He jumped really well in the early stages, though, and clearly has an engine, so I reckon he is worth chancing in this much lesser race off a 5lb lower mark with the impressive Fergus Gillard taking off another 5lb.
