The Alan Fleming-trained Bakmaj can thwart a three-strong challenge mounted by Willie Mullins in the opening maiden hurdle (2.05).

Perhaps not surprisingly in view of the strength of the Mullins novice squad, the case in favour of Bakmaj is best made with reference to a stablemate of the three, Quick Grabim, who beat him in a maiden at Listowel and franked the form with an emphatic Grade 3 success at Tipperary on Sunday.
