Ed de Giles’ three-year-old has been really progressive this season, but there is half a chance he will be ignored in the betting compared to Fadillah and Ocean Ready, who are going for three-timers for William Haggas and Sir Mark Prescott.

Since proving no match for Sixties Groove (gone up 19lb since) at Epsom, Panko has won easily at Chepstow and then pulled nicely clear with a well-backed winner at Bath last time.
