This is a seriously good race, but a double-figure price surely underestimates a horse who traded at odds-on in running to beat the market leader last time.

Mortal was running a cracker against Delta Work in the 3m Grade 1 here over Christmas and while he was beaten eight lengths into second at the end, he was trading at 1.6 approaching the last, at which he made a mistake.
