The fare at Fairyhouse might not match the entertainment at Newmarket, nor do we witness as many returning stars as at Chepstow, but there are some interesting heats nonetheless, most notably the 2m beginners' chase (3.05).

Ball D'Arc really should be winning it. He is a Grade 2-winning hurdler who boasts a rating of 140 in that sphere and made a perfectly satisfactory debut over fences at Listowel last month when chasing home Three Stars, who himself was no mug over hurdles.

If improving upon that effort, Ball D'Arc will be a tough nut to crack, but it could be worth taking a chance on Ordinary World at a much bigger price.
