No room for the opposition as Inn returns to Tramore

Flat action comes to Tramore just once a year but perhaps there will be room for one or two more occasions in future seasons, particularly as near-neighbour Wexford no longer hosts Flat cards. It's not as though there is a shortage of low-grade horses who could do with more opportunities.

John Oxx was always a force to be reckoned with in maidens here in the days when there was more Flat racing, and Prince Charmin'looks to have a decent opportunity to strengthen that record in the Dan Cowman Memorial Maiden (5.15).

None of the three-year-olds in this contest is pulling up any trees but the older horses are mostly jumpers and there is enough scope for improvement among those of the Classic generation.
