Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's three meetings

Friday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Haydock

3.00: Conquredalofeurope

Among many interesting candidates, the pick is Conquredalofeurope following the promising second at Wetherby on his British debut. Danilo D'Airy's spectacular emergence into the handicap ranks last term is not readily forgotten and he is feared most, despite the reverses in his last two races. Jimmy The Digger would have more to prove on heavy ground but he's never been better and this move up in trip makes him tempting. Morning Spirit and Samuel Jackson may be best of the rest.
Richard Austen

Taunton

1.45: Kakamora

Chasing newcomer Mahon Point makes some appeal as does last month's C&D winner Kayf Hernando (second choice), but it may well pay to side with Kakamora in the belief that cheekpieces and a step up in distance will elicit a little improvement.

Wolverhampton

7.30: Brave Display

The return to this trip should help Crocodile Power while Swiss Rowe can't be totally dismissed in his current mood despite his high draw. However, this looks a good opportunity for Brave Display to follow up his recent convincing C&D success, especially as he is 2lb well-in under his penalty. He can again take care of the runner-up Desert Dream who finds himself drawn widest.
