Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's three meetings

Thursday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Chelmsford

6.30: Delagate The Lady

Company Minx isn't ideally drawn but she has the ability to play a big part at this level, while Jumira Bridge, Maybe Tonight, Tahonta and Viewfromthestars also have something to recommend them. DELAGATE THE LADY hasn't been seen for ten months but her new trainer looks to have found an ideal opportunity for her return and she could prove a cut above these rivals.
Paul Smith

Ffos Las

1.30: Greenrock Abbey

Bolsover Bill has an obvious form chance being 10lb well-in after his latest Catterick success but the return to 2m on this quick return in a competitive race means that the task may not be as straightforward as it looks at first glance. Irish point winner GREENROCK ABBEY made a good start to his chase career at Hereford and his new mark is surely within range. Haldon Hill is also in fine form, while Prime Pretender is another who cannot be left out in what is a strong race for the grade.

Wolverhampton

1.15: Hadley Park

On the back of a solid effort here on Boxing Day, HADLEY PARK could well defy top weight back down in grade. Unexposed Outrace (second choice) warrants respect off bottom weight back up in class, while handicap newcomers Demilion and Communication are interesting.
