Blind Beggar is starting to look very well handicapped and the same can be said for Inflection Point who may benefit from a mid-season break.

The drop in trip and class should help Real Terms, while Sophiesticate is another who can prove more potent now back at Class 5 level. Auntie Margaret can confirm latest Leicester form with Arclight but Two Brothers may beat them all. A return to form was predicted by the market when he went down narrowly over C&D 11 days ago and he can gain compensation.

With the blinkers retained, Broxi is taken to complete a hat-trick. He's 2-2 in this headgear and looks capable of defying a 5lb penalty for his latest win. Recent C&D scorer Unsung Hero is feared most, ahead of Elsaab.

Their very presence in a race like this shows that these are hard to win with. Quercus comes into this in better form than most, even if it has been shown on turf, while the stiff track may help him on this first attempt at 5f. However, the vote goes to Ballintoy Harbour whose two AW starts include a win over C&D, while she drops into a Class 6 for the very first time.
