Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's six meetings

Best bets from Bangor, Bellewstown, Catterick, Kempton, Newcastle and Nottingham

Wednesday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Bangor

3.36: Blakeney Point

Still well handicapped after last month's emphatic C&D win, Blakeney Point is selected to complete a double. Ted's Friend returned to form with a win 16 days ago and is second choice. Go Chique and Iron Heart also have possibilities.
Chris Wilson

Bellewstown

4.20: Harry's Hill

A competitive contest with several of these likely to be ahead of their marks but it's hard to get away from Harry's Hill in his hat-trick bid. He made easy work of a competitive looking handicap at the Curragh last month and if he's in the same form here, an 11lb rise looks manageable. Blind Beggar is starting to look very well handicapped and the same can be said for Inflection Point who may benefit from a mid-season break.

Naps table: daily tipping selections from national newspaper experts

Catterick

5.09: Two Brothers

Only nine runners but a case of sorts can be made for all of them. The drop in trip and class should help Real Terms, while Sophiesticate is another who can prove more potent now back at Class 5 level. Auntie Margaret can confirm latest Leicester form with Arclight but Two Brothers may beat them all. A return to form was predicted by the market when he went down narrowly over C&D 11 days ago and he can gain compensation.
Paul Smith

Kempton

7.30: Broxi

With the blinkers retained, Broxi is taken to complete a hat-trick. He's 2-2 in this headgear and looks capable of defying a 5lb penalty for his latest win. Recent C&D scorer Unsung Hero is feared most, ahead of Elsaab.
Steve Boow

Newcastle

8.15: Ballintoy Harbour

Their very presence in a race like this shows that these are hard to win with. Quercus comes into this in better form than most, even if it has been shown on turf, while the stiff track may help him on this first attempt at 5f. However, the vote goes to Ballintoy Harbour whose two AW starts include a win over C&D, while she drops into a Class 6 for the very first time.
David Bellingham

Nottingham

2.45: Iris Dancer

The Green Man is a must for any shortlist and also Good Earth after finishing fourth in the Silver Cup at Ayr. However, Iris Dancer could make them all go if the blinkers continue to work.
