Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's six meetings

Wednesday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Gowran Park

2.55: Band Width

A poor run at Galway aside, Band Width has been consistent on his last four starts and can notch another win with a visor to help his concentration. Hypernova looks off a tough mark but could still be best of the rest.
Tyrone Molloy

Hamilton

6.25: Coco Jack

Even under top weight, Coco Jack makes plenty of appeal, having won over C&D earlier in the season and run a cracker in a competitive nursery at the big Goodwood meeting. Two of the Jungles may pose the biggest dangers, Jungle Time (second choice) worth another chance over this trip and Jungle Fever having had excuses since his Brighton win.
Richard O'Brien

Lingfield

3.30: La Rav

Five-time course winner Prince Rock showed more in a race not run to suit last time and will appreciate the return to 1m. He's on the shortlist, along with the progressive One Step Beyond, but La Rav came back to form off today's career-low mark last time and gets the nod.
Graham Wheldon

Southwell

3.20: All About Alice

Despite his poor strike-rate Uther Pendragon is a player on form following his near miss at Chelmsford last week, but preference is for All About Alice, who landed a better race at Wolverhampton in January and will be suited by the drop in grade having contested a 0-90 last time. International Law (second choice) hasn't been seen for 114 days but has a good record fresh and is favoured by the race conditions. Valley Of Flowers is another to consider.
David Bellingham

Wolverhampton

1.40: La Belle Vie

The most striking contender is Heather Main's three-year-old La Belle Vie, who had some traffic issues before finishing well for second behind a rival who made all in a C&D handicap last month. She looks interesting on that eyecatching effort and is unexposed as a stayer. The main threat could come from Morning Symphony, who stayed on well when scoring over 1m4f here in April and is a big player if she can recapture that form on her return to the Flat.
David Moon

Worcester

6.10: The Turtle Said

The pair that won chases last time out, Red Happy and Imperial Knight, are on attractive marks if able to show that form back hurdling. Landen Calling (second choice) has taken a sharp rise for his Market Rasen win but The Turtle Said can still run off last week's winning mark and finished that 2m4f event with gusto.
