Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's six meetings
Our best bets from Ayr, Cork, Kempton, Southwell, Warwick and Yarmouth
Tuesday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team
Ayr
4.20: Ready Freddie Go
The strongest claims are held by Ready Freddie Go, who quickened smartly to win at Thirsk and now benefits from Harry Russell's claim. Jacattack has won two of his three races this year and would be dangerous if making a smooth switch back to turf, but perhaps the main threat will prove to be Noorban, who has had excuses for a couple of recent below-par efforts.
Richard O'Brien
Cork
2.05: Amalfi Coast
The experience gained by Amalfi Coast in two outings should give him an edge over Impeachd Alexander who has an appealing pedigree. Arewecrystalclear can be expected to take a step forward from her Naas debut.
Alan Sweetman
Kempton
8.35: Yagood
Bug Boy should be able to win a small race on the AW off his lowly mark and he's respected, while Hammy End, Celtic Classic, It's How We Roll and Super Superjack are others to warrant a second look. The Wolverhampton event in which Yagood finished ahead of Danking could prove the key formline though and a 2lb rise for the selection looks lenient.

Southwell
7.50: Taras Day
Among those with recent form, Taras Day brings a solid record in handicaps and may add to her win at Perth one month ago. Classic Ruler and Magnificent Ben enter the reckoning on recent C&D form but it might also prove a good idea to watch out for the 14yo Boher Lad, who lacks recent form but has a fine record at Southwell and returns here for the first time since March 2020. He's second on the list.
Richard Austen
Warwick
2.20: Hang Tough
Danilo D'Airy has been hit with one of the biggest handicap rises in history (52lb) since his winning chase debut from a long way out of the weights here last week. The 8yo dominated that contest throughout and remains very unexposed but today's race is stronger and there are some good alternatives. Top of the list is Hang Tough, who will be very well suited by the recent rain and can excel if, as seems likely, the emphasis is on stamina. Triple course winner Goodnight Charlie is also respected, while last-time-out winners Black Centaur and Shattered Glass are open to further improvement.
Chris Wilson
Yarmouth
3.40: Ghadbbaan
A shortlist of three, with Ghadbbaan favoured. The 5yo has had just ten starts and a 5lb rise for his breakthrough win can be shrugged off. Pax Britannica is getting better and better in handicaps, albeit mostly on AW, while Sir Canford was successful the last time he returned from a layoff having undergone wind surgery.
