Picks from Leopardstown, Sandown, Wetherby, Musselburgh, Kempton and Lingfield

Kempton
4.55: Wonder Starelzaam
Denis Coakley's 4yo Wonder Starelzaam(nap) won quite stylishly when upped to 1m at Lingfield three weeks ago and has clearly thrived since switching to his new stable. He remains unexposed over this trip and gets the nod ahead of Dark Company, who is also in good form but lacks the selection's potential. Hold Fast has more to prove but will be dangerous off his current mark if back on song.
Chris Wilson
Leopardstown
3.50: Mt Leinster
There were signs here at Christmas that Mt Leinster (nap) is beginning to get the hang of things over fences and he may collect on his handicap debut. Exit Poll, who has a fighting chance of reversing the form of his post-Christmas clash with Grange Walk, may prove the main danger. Last year's winner A Wave of The Sea may benefit from a return to this trip.
Alan Sweetman
Lingfield
4.00: Exalted Angel
A strong renewal of this Listed event. Rohaan developed into a high-class sprinter last year and he looks a candidate for top honours this season but he's been off since a poor run in the autumn and this test might not play to his strengths, especially given Ryan Moore could find himself trapped from stall 1. He may be up to the task but there are quality opponents, notably Good Effort, Soldier's Minute, Lord Of The Lodge and last year's winner Exalted Angel(nap). He may have finished behind two of these rivals at Wolverhampton last time but Exalted Angel still shaped with plenty of promise and he could get a lovely tow into this contest.
Paul Smith
Musselburgh
2.05: Calipso Collonges
This could be between a couple of 10yos who are having their first runs in a veterans' chase. Calipso Collonges(nap) was third in the competitive Tommy Whittle Chase at Haydock last time out and is preferred to Cool Mix, who was also running with credit in better races towards the end of last year. 2020 runner-up Valadom could also have a part to play.
Ben Hutton
Sandown
1.15: Gunsight Ridge
Several have possibilities on their peak form but Gunsight Ridge(nap) has a very attractive profile and gets the verdict. He is improving and scored over C&D most recently. Frero Banbou, a similar type, is second choice ahead of Tamaroc Du Mathan who may still have more to offer. Dolos has a solid record in this race and Moonlighter landed the spoils last year, so they are not comfortably dismissed.
Steve Boow
Wetherby
3.38: Law Of Gold
Dubai Quest is a progressive performer and represents a team in great form but preference is for the rock-solid Law Of Gold(nap) even if he lacks a recent run. The formerly smart Le Breuil adds spice to the contest on his hunter chase debut.
