Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's six meetings

Monday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Galway

2.50: Speckled Meadow

The proven stamina of Speckled Meadow (nap) will count for plenty in these conditions and she'll be coming up the hill better than most. Wee Pablo finished well last time at Navan and stepping back up to 7f will suit, so he should go well along with Angel's Trumpet who's had a productive campaign.
Mark Nunan

Hereford

3.45: Ben Buie

Most of these have something to prove on one count or another but Ben Buie (nap) was a clear second behind a quadruple subsequent winner at Stratford in his final run during the summer. He's on the same mark after a break and is a big player in his bid for a second C&D win. Eros is feared most on his reappearance, although Chris Honour's unexposed chaser Gaelic Thunder was a creditable second at Exeter 13 days ago and has possibilities if he can build on that.
David Moon

Kempton

5.20: Tequilamockingbird

Pawapuri is an intriguing runner on her handicap debut, but it took her a while to pick up at Yarmouth and she might not want a tactical affair. Rozalia also comes into the reckoning but Tequilamockingbird (nap) continues on the upgrade and she can take full advantage of the return to a fillies' handicap.
Paul Smith

Plumpton

2.20: Lord Baddesley

This looks a good opportunity for Lord Baddesley (nap) after his highly encouraging return in a strong handicap at Chepstow. Royaume Uni may finish closer to the selection than in last season's Betfair and pose a challenge, along with Small Bad Bob.
Alistair Jones

Wexford

1.00: Innatendue

A strong maiden hurdle for the venue. Imagine looked a smart prospect when winning his bumper and reappears here in new ownership, a potentially smart novice hurdler. However, the form of Innatendue (nap) last season bears close scrutiny, notably his second in a Fairyhouse Grade 2 with some talented performers behind. With winning form in France on soft he should handles the conditions and his yard is in terrific form.
Alan Hewison

Wolverhampton

6.30: Red Walls

Although 7lb higher than when beating Kim Wexler and Bang On The Bell over course-and-distance last month, Obtain has to be respected as she may still have improvement left. Street Life could go well from his favourable draw, but the vote goes to triple course-and-distance winner Red Walls (nap) who despite being 2lb out of the weights, is still off the same mark as when winning this last year.
