Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's six meetings

Monday selections from Lingfield, Ayr, Southwell, Naas, Windsor and Thirsk

Monday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Windsor

4.55: Justcallmepete

Preference is for the very well-bred Justcallmepete, who justified support in good style on his handicap debut at Southwell last month and is open to more improvement back on turf. Second choice is Sixth Street, who went close in a Polytrack handicap on his recent return and represents a yard that won this race last year. Triple AW winner Nordic Glory has claims if he can transfer his progress back to turf, while another to keep an eye on is Martyn Meade's handicap newcomer Cityjet.
David Moon

Ayr

3.25: Call Me Ginger

C&D winner Call Me Ginger reappeared with a staying-on sixth over 5f at Musselburgh recently and earns the vote now back up in trip. Ballyare has enjoyed a good AW campaign and is second choice ahead of Soldier's Minute.
Ben Hutton

Lingfield

2.40: Secret Glow

Umneyaat again turned over at a short price on her debut for new connections last time and Queen Of Burgundy needing to bounce back, this looks good for Secret Glow, who can defy a 3lb rise for his comeback C&D win. Wonder Elmossman is another to consider.
Graham Wheldon

Southwell

5.10: Dansemai

The return to 7f should be to the advantage of Dream Lofty Dreams, while Hello Power would have a solid chance if building on her latest Newcastle effort. However, the vote goes to Dansemai who ran well to finish fourth behind a subsequent winner at Wolverhampton last time. She makes her handicap debut at a modest level and should relish the extra furlong on breeding.
David Bellingham

Naas

7.15: Knightlailax

Not that many can be ruled out but Knightlaila impressed on handicap debut at Gowran and can follow up off an 8lb higher mark. Mister Wilson's Madrid Handicap second has been well advertised by the winner while Ivy League and Culcor could easily be nicely treated.
Mark Nunan

Thirsk

8.05: Frog And Toad

Whereas most of his rivals look exposed, Frog And Toad looks the type who could improve further and he's taken to defy a penalty for Friday's success in a higher grade at Doncaster. Second choice is Northbound, whose 3yo form suggests he's interesting back over this C&D. Key Look and Mr Strutter have a combined record of 5-9 at this venue, while Langholm, Magical Effect and Dandys Gold are also considered.
