Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's seven meetings
Best bets for Bath, Beverley, Curragh, Down Royal, Kempton, Warwick and Windsor
Monday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team
Bath
3.21: Mumtaaz
This can go to the very well-bred Mumtaaz (nap), who found plenty of progress when scoring over C&D on his recent handicap/stable debut and a 3lb rise for that success looks fair. Strawberry Jack ran well to finish placed behind a subsequent winner at Windsor three weeks ago and he's feared most, though dual slow-ground winner Espresso Freddo looks on a workable mark back on turf and would be interesting if significant rain arrives.
David Moon
Beverley
3.31: The Vegas Raider
Newmarket raider The Vegas Raider(nap) looked a different horse at Salisbury and he looks capable of defying a penalty. Ventura Kingdom, in the same ownership, is his chief threat. Can Can Girl may also have a say if improving for this longer trip.
Alistair Jones
Curragh
1.30: Quick Suzy
It seems fair to assume that Quick Suzy (nap) was beaten by a smart filly at Tipperary and the experience of that run could be vital now. Lady Tanzanite may prove best of the newcomers, unless the market points strongly in another direction.
Alan Sweetman
Down Royal
2.50: Teescomponentsyess
Very few of these count. Samurai Cracker has a shout on his chase rating while Tullybeg is the one to beat on hurdle ratings. The progressive one in the race though could be Teescomponentsyess(nap), decisive winner of a Limerick maiden hurdle last time with the step up in trip likely to suit.
Justin O'Hanlon
Kempton
3.00: Saint De Reve
Psychedelic Rock went up only 2lb for winning a small-field C&D race two weeks ago and ought to give another good account but Saint De Reve (nap) gained a bloodless victory at Chepstow last month and remains only 1lb higher than when running a big race in defeat at Newbury two starts ago. He's still lightly raced over fences and has a good chance to add to his tally here. Mellow Ben will be dangerous off his current mark if back on song.
Chris Wilson
Warwick
6.00: Hotter Than Hell
It will be interesting to see what the market says about Bond's Lover on her handicap debut back from an absence, while there are positives about Trump Lady. However, Hotter Than Hell (nap) acquitted herself well behind a progressive one at Haydock last time and she is solid to go well.
Mark Rowntree
Windsor
2.31: Beyond Equal
Stuart Kittow has been among the winners and the free-going Beyond Equal (nap), who went close on his comeback last summer off a 4lb higher mark in better company, can add to the tally. The expensive-to-follow Kick On Kick On will again draw some in off a career-low mark but the progressive Capote's Dream looks a bigger threat.
Graham Wheldon
