David Pipe's Ladykiller looked very well suited by the step up to today's trip when winning quite stylishly at Uttoxeter on Wednesday and is taken to overcome a 7lb penalty. Oscar Montel switches back to hurdling after a creditable second in a good-quality chase here last month and may provide the main threat but good cases can also be made for Motion In Limine and Wall Of Fame.

Top of the list is Gay Kelleway's improver Silver Bubble, who has won here in three of her last four starts and looks well treated under a penalty for her clearcut success over C&D last Monday. The main threat could come from It's How We Roll, who scored twice during the summer and was a creditable second behind the selection last week. The other one on the shortlist is Hooves Like Jagger, who returned to form with his third at this track last time and has claims if he can build on that.
