Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's four meetings

Thursday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team
Ayr
2.00: Gold Emery
The Donald McCain-trained GOLD EMERY is taken to make it 2-2 under rules, having won on his hurdle debut at Carlisle in February. The rejuvenated Lock's Corner is second choice ahead of the unexposed mare Rae Des Champs.
Ben Hutton
Ffos Las
2.40: Rocky Man
This can go to ROCKY MAN, who kept on well to fend off a strong challenge from the favourite when making a winning handicap debut at Wetherby in October and could still be well treated after a 6lb rise. Kepagge ran well for a long way at Sandown last month when returning from a long absence and may provide the main threat. Oscars Moonshine is next on the list.
Chris Wilson
Lingfield
3.20: Swiss Pride
An interesting race of its type, with the unexposed Incrimination potentially very well treated on her handicap/stable debut and Daphne May also lurking on a dangerous mark on her first run for Gary Moore. Shalaa Asker (second choice) appreciated the return to sprinting 16 days ago and can go well, while Porfin and Likian both ran well over course and distance last week. SWISS PRIDE flew home for second in that race though and Roger Teal's prolific course-and-distance winner can go one better today.
Paul Smith
Southwell
5.30: Amourie
The market may be revealing as regards the chances of handicap debutante Vision Of Hope, who is bred to appreciate the step up in trip, but the vote goes to AMOURIE who has finished first past the post in her last two starts over course and distance, including when having a couple of today's rivals behind last time. Course regular Sociologist may be allowed his own way in front so is respected, alongside recent Wolverhampton winner Starfighter and the unexposed Foursome.
