There appeared to be plenty of confidence behind Storm Hill on his handicap debut at Warwick only to crash out mid-race. This course winner is probably on a lucrative mark. Baddesley comes into it on his best efforts and Henschke very nearly won on his reappearance here last season.

Judged on the strength of her Goodwood form and bearing in mind that she's open to further progress now handicapping, Night Life looks well up to defying an opening mark of 78. Her biggest threats appear to be Tabaretta and Sol Cayo, who finished first and second in a handicap here 25 days ago. Edge Of Darkness's fourthitis may well continue unless he improves for the new surface.
