Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's four meetings

Curragh, Goodwood, Limerick and Newton Abbot picks

Sunday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Curragh

12.50 Tartan Skirt

For Curragh standards, a maiden lacking strength in depth. Tartan Skirt showed plenty of speed before tiring in the seventh furlong on her debut and back in trip here should take plenty of catching. Vivaia fared creditably in one of the hottest maidens of the season on her debut and looks the danger.
Alan Hewison

Goodwood

1.45: Cochise

Preference is for Cochise, who has hopefully come on since his latest run and will be suited by good to soft or soft ground. Be My Sea looks the most solid option among the rest, but the somewhat enigmatic Polish has to be feared and Tin Fandango came home well in front in the mud when he was last seen in action.
Richard Austen

Limerick

4.30 Buttons And Bows

Having looked sure to win when falling at the last at Listowel last time, Buttons And Bows can make amends even though nudged up 2lb. Bring The Bacon could be well-handicapped and is of interest, while Chesterville will be more at home over this trip and go well. Tyrone Molloy

Newton Abbot

2.02: Ballymillsy

Blackjack Kentucky got back on track when reverting to hurdling in first-time cheekpieces in February and could still have untapped potential over today's longer trip but there should still be more to come from Ballymillsy, who won on his handicap debut in February and wasn't discredited on either subsequent appearance. Just A Sting and Hogan's Height were out of form over fences when last seen but have dropped to very tempting hurdle marks.
