Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's five meetings

Wednesday's selections from Dundalk, Kempton, Leicester, Lingfield and Newbury

Wednesday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Dundalk

4.30: Elzaamsan

A few of these could well be progressive enough to win a maiden in due course. Seattle Creek has the rating but needs to step up on his last start here, and it is far from inconceivable that the fourth home that day Sherry Baby might turn the tables. The one to beat should be Elzaamsan (nap), a good second in a 1m2f maiden here last month with the step up in trip sure to suit and the stable in excellent form.
Justin O'Hanlon

Kempton

6.45: Follow Your Heart

Dutch Decoy is respected, while Cash Machine could also have a say if building on his Wolverhampton third, but the vote goes to Follow Your Heart (nap) who looks ready to win soon for his new stable judged on his fast-finishing second at Chelmsford last time.
Andrew Sheret

Leicester

12.30: Obey The Rules

The lightly raced six-year-old Obey The Rules (nap) is on a roll, as is the case with many of Donald McCain's horses, and he can make it three wins from his last four starts. His old rival All Shook Up could be a big danger now back at a right-handed track, while last month's Hereford winner Ben Buie could also be involved.
Ben Hutton

Lingfield

11.40: Desert Land

This race could be run at a solid pace and, in that hope, Desert Land (nap) is taken to record his first win at 1m. Things just didn't pan out for him the last twice. Red Evelyn and stable switcher Agent Of Fortune head the dangers.
Andrew Cooper

Newbury

1.25: I K Brunel

Nicky Henderson's twice-raced Valsheda is hugely unexposed and possibly full of potential, following just two runs over hurdles. However, there is an interesting alternative in I K Brunel (nap) who could be about to make the most of his good handicap mark following a promising reappearance. Quartz Du Rheu and Tide Times are other principals.
