Yet to run poorly after eight starts on the AW, Chichester showed much more again on the switch from turf recently, when a slow break and steady early pace on the step back down to 1m wouldn't have worked in his favour. Fantastic Fox, who's had a light season and is half-brother to several Polytrack winners, is an obvious danger, while United Front's record round here has to bring him into the equation.

A tricky little heat to solve. Captain Conby has a bit to find at the weights but was a progressive novice and there should be more to come. Eric Bloodaxe has a good record fresh but may prefer further nowadays.

It was pretty comfortable here last week for the penalised Highstakesplayer and he's taken to follow up, perhaps at the expense of Coupdebol who might still be ahead of his mark. Ecume Atlantique is another to consider seriously.

2.07: Onemorefortheroad

A good handicap. Onemorefortheroad is probably handicapped about right but he's compiling a very solid profile and the 2m4f stretched him at Aintree. Boombawn could be the main threat ahead of Caramelised, although it would be no surprise to see former classy chaser Rouge Vif make his presence felt.

3.30: Stellar Magic

There are plenty of positives for Stellar Magic who, among other things, is open to progress in staying handicap hurdles this season. Several others are well treated on their best form, notably Barbados Buck's (second choice) who looks set for a big revival. Towards the bottom of the weights Republican (third choice) is interesting back over hurdles, while topweight Top Ville Ben can't be left out of calculations either. Several others also have possibilities in a competitive event.
