Nap of the day: best horse racing tips for the day's five meetings

Tuesday tips from Fontwell, Punchestown, Redcar, Wolverhampton and Yarmouth

Tuesday's best bets from the Racing Post's unbeatable Spotlights team

Fontwell

1.35: Jakamani

Lightly raced 6yo Snug As A Bug is respected under the penalty she shoulders for last week's clear win at Newton Abbot but preference is for Jakamani, who ran a big race when second in a competitive race for this grade on last month's handicap debut at Stratford. I'm On Snap and Shanandoa can also feature.
Chris Wilson

Punchestown

3.33: Champion Green

With improvement likely from his seasonal debut at Galway Champion Green can deliver on the potential he showed last season. The two obvious dangers are Manwal, a 77-rated gelding with solid placed form, and Moracana, a big-priced runner-up on her introduction at Navan.

Redcar

4.20: Desert Quest

Today's long straight should be ideal for Desert Quest, who seems a relentless galloper, and he's taken to complete a hat-trick. Clear second choice is Major Snugfit, but Hazalou and Vivid Luminosity are lightly raced and cannot be ruled out, while the veteran Jan De Heem could be revived by a return to Redcar.
Richard O'Brien

Wolverhampton

7.20: Echo Beach

It will be interesting to see if there is any market confidence behind One Hart on his stable debut, having returned to the same mark as when making it 3-5 over C&D in February. Alphonse Karr would have to be respected if seeing out the trip, but Echo Beach looks the one to beat. He looks better on the AW than on turf and although 4lb higher than when winning at Newcastle in July, that was a better race than this one.
David Bellingham

Yarmouth

5.00: Dark Side Prince

Kodi Gold may have more improvement in him for new connections and he can confirm recent placings with Enchanted Night now dropping to 5f. Dark Side Prince has shown enough to think a small turf race could fall his way though and he is preferred.
Paul Smith
