2.30: Bravemansgame
L'Homme Presse continues to take every new challenge in his stride but, whether by accident or design, he is used to much stiffer tracks than this whereas Bravemansgame showed how well this course suits when winning at this meeting last Christmas. Paul Nicholls has trained four horses who have won the race at least twice and it is surely significant that he was soon talking of multiple wins in this for Bravemansgame. Stablemate Hitman is preferred to the 2020 winner Frodon of the other two Nicholls runners but Royale Pagaille wouldn't be totally forlorn if the ground became really testing and Envoi Allen is not ruled out either.
Emily Weber
Wetherby
3.20: Brentford Hope
Smart Flat performer Brentford Hope has shown a clear aptitude for hurdling when runner-up in maiden/novice events in recent weeks and an opening handicap hurdle mark of 113 could underestimate him based on the level of his Flat form. Nigel Hawke is no stranger to success with juvenile hurdlers in handicaps so his Southwell winner I Have A Voice may give the selection most to do ahead of Lucinda Russell pair Chapel Green and Netywell.

Leopardstown
2.55: Embittered
Rob James takes a valuable 7lb off Embittered who holds a big chance in view of another win for his narrow Cork conqueror Big Debates. Final Orders can continue to prosper over fences and Sil Ver Klass is another who has been in fine form.
Alan Sweetman
Limerick
3.15: Bonnie Kellie
An interesting contest. Despite being 5lb out of the handicap, The Eye Of Tulla would be a big danger if reproducing his Naas run last week, while the locally-trained Cahirdown Boy will have been primed for a big run. The selection is Bonnie Kellie who might well have more to offer having gone close at Clonmel last time and can turn tables on winner that day Courting Vickie.
Justin O'Hanlon
Down Royal
2.33: The Storyteller
A cracking renewal with the Punchestown Champion Hunters runner-up Vaucelet coming here in fine form on the back of his Portrush win, and Snow Falcon and Brain Power also seemingly in fine fettle, but The Storyteller has made a fine start to life as a 'Pointer' winning all three starts, and could have enough left up his sleeve to follow up here. Singing Banjo is another one to bear in mind.
Seamus Howard
Newcastle
2.00: Operation Manna
The one who appeals most is Operation Manna, who created a good impression when scoring on his reappearance and handicap debut over a similar trip to this at Chepstow last month. He's 7lb higher in a slightly better event but he's just the type to make further progress in this sphere. He's taken to beat the unexposed Camdonian and Salvino, who might be ideally suited by further.
Richard Young
Market Rasen
2.50: Jet Plane
This renewal of the Lincolnshire National looks competitive but it's still hard to get away from Jet Plane, who was thoroughly dominant when winning at Hereford last month and remains unexposed as a staying chaser. Bangers And Cash and Representing Bob are another two up-and-coming chasers, but the second choice is Calipso Collonges, who ran perfectly well on his seasonal debut and has slipped to a good mark. 2020 winner Who's In The Box has much more to prove but might be revived by a change of headgear.
Chris Wilson
Fontwell
1.07: Rose Sea Has
Great Ocean is quite interesting but the safest option looks to be Rose Sea Has, who could have these at full stretch.
Jonathan Neesom
Huntingdon
12.05: Grillon De Monty
The Macon Lugnatic returns to hurdles off a sporting mark and he is greatly respected but Grillon De Monty looks the one to beat. He ran a cracker on his first start for Dan Skelton, making a subsequent winner pull out all the stops at Southwell last month with daylight back to the third. He's 3lb higher today but better ground may help and the best could be yet to come.
Paul Smith
Wincanton
2.38: Greatest Star
Plenty hold chances but Greatest Star could be kicking off for Fergal O'Brien on a very handy mark. Leissieres Express goes handicapping after an eyecatching effort at Chepstow and he's feared most, while Illico Des Places could be a lively one now that he's back on softer ground.
Alistair Jones
Wolverhampton
4.10: Civil Law
With his record at the track reading 1211 this looks another good opportunity for Civil Law, who appeared to win with a bit in hand here last time. A 3lb rise in the weights looks more than manageable. The main danger may come from Via Serendipity who signalled a return to form when going down by a neck at Lingfield last time.
