Tea For Two: should be better for promising first run of the season at Ascot

The five-year-old appeared in this column two weeks ago as a horse to follow this season on Saturdays. I would advise you to extend this policy to all races as this was a pleasing chase debut. His jumping was sound and, having been a couple of lengths adrift of winner Charbel at the last, he then made inroads, reducing the deficit to three-quarters of a length. If Le Prezien continues to progress he will be aimed at a novice chase at the festival and, as he will stay further than this 2m, the Racing Post Arkle and the JLT are potential targets.
