Might bites off just enough that he can chew
In one of the most exciting races run at the Cheltenham Festival in recent years, Might Bite showed amazing resilience to rally and get back up on the line in the RSA Chase having appeared to throw it away early on the run-in. He was backed at 40 on Betfair when hanging after the final fence, while runner-up Whisper was done at 1.02.
It looked for a long way in the Neptune that Neon Wolf would extend his unbeaten record and it was a surprise to find he wasn’t backed at shorter than even-money in running on Betfair. There was no disgrace in finishing second, but he could probably do with softer
ground.
Special Tiara gutsed it out for a deserved win in the Queen Mother Champion Chase, holding off the late rally of Fox Norton (1.28). Douvan, who was backed at 1.24, was never travelling after a poor jump at the first.
